Rob passed away on May 19, 2025 in Bay City with his family by his side at the age of 63. He was born to the late Robert and Maxine (Boggs) Hall on October 10, 1961 in Royal Oak. He worked and volunteered for many different railroads. He was very active and volunteered many hours for the Historical Society of Saginaw. Rob was an electrical mechanic for Bluewater and for the Steam Railroad Institute where the Engine from the movie Polar Express was held. He also volunteered many hours there and would drop anything to help them out when they needed it. If they had something that they couldn’t fix, they could always count on Rob to get the job done. He was an active member of the Amateur Radio Club of Bay City, his call sign was KC8SDL. He was also involved in multiple old engine shows around Michigan. He was a great mentor to many people.
Rob is survived by his wife of over 21 years, Beth Hall and Joreja Mae, his furbaby; step-children, Jessica (Mark) Cieszlak and Wayne Rajaniemi; many adopted children, grandchildren and many close friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two step-granddaughters, Allison Mae Cieszlak and Violet Maci Cieszlak.
At the request of Rob, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contribution may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
