Robert Courtin Jane', 77, passed away March 7, 2025 surrounded by his family and closest friends. He was a kind and loving man, a true gentleman.
Bob was born in New Orleans February 3, 1948 to Col. Edwin G Jane', Jr. and Sarah Courtin Jane'. He attended LSU until being inducted into the U S Army where he served a tour of duty in Vietnam. Upon returning to NOLA he finished his college education at UNO. He was a numismatist and precious metals trader in the New Orleans area for 45+ years. Afterward, retiring in Picayune, Mississippi. He loved golf, travel, food and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Sarah Jane' and his brother Edwin Jane' III.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40+ years Sharon Blessington Jane', his daughter Kelley Spell (Carlos Moreno), grandchildren Caden Gaudet and Amarissa Montoya, sister-in-law and her fiancé Sandra Mabry and Ron Markovich, and many beloved cousins, in-laws and friends. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed.
