Robert Wells Obituary

In his free time, Rob loved to hunt deer and play golf. His favorite location to hunt was Matchwood in the upper peninsula. Five years ago, Rob decided he wanted to share his love of golf with his family, so he started a family golf tournament. He loved golfing so much that he would sometimes leave work early to golf nine holes. Those close to Rob knew he had a habit of ripping up the lawn with his swings, and even claimed other people's golf balls as his own. Rob loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. Family was most important to Rob- he was a devoted father and grandfather, and especially doted on his grand-dog, Patience.
Rob was the loving father of James (Jessica) Wells. Cherished grandfather of Hunter Wells. Dear brother of the late James Wells, William Wells, Joseph (Judy) Wells, the late Carol Thompson, and Linda (Gary) McMinn.
A visitation for Rob will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd. (4 blks. E. of Woodward), Royal Oak, 48067. Friends and family will gather on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road.
