Robin L. Walling, 69 of Jackson, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones after a year long battle with brain cancer. She will be making an anatomical donation to the U of M Medical training staff, with cremation services to follow. Robin will be lovingly remembered by those who knew her as a selfless person with a heart full of love. Even in her final days, she still wanted to do her best to love and care for others,
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Charles E. "Chuck" Walling of Jackson, mother-in-law Gail Walling, stepchildren, Gabriel Walling, Wendy (Ryan) Kinsora, and Melissa Walling, daughter-in-law Toni Bohnett of South Boardman, grandchildren; Amber (Billy) Bohnett-Smith, Andrew Bohnett, Autumn Bohnett, and numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robin is also survived by her siblings; Thomas (Terri) Collard, Sue (Steve) Bristol, Mark (Sharyn) Collard of Australia, Richard Collard of Florida, Anthony Riddle, and Amanda Riddle. The Walling Family and Kinch Family, numerous nieces and nephews including; Kellie (Eric) Wenk and Jodie (Russ) Flintz whom she shared a special bond with, and many friends from Florida including her neighbor Phyliss Pratt.
Robin is preceded in death by her parents, Richard E. and Janice M. Collard, mother-in-law Beverly Kinch, father-in-law Harry Walling Sr., her sons, Brian and Chris Bohnett, and her grandson Christopher Bohnett-Walling.
Robin was truly an angel on Earth and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, May 18, 2025 at The Apron Restaurant from 4:00PM - 7:00PM.
