Rocky Valentine Kern Jr., 45, of Lancaster, peacefully passed away far too soon on February 19, 2025 with his wife, kids, and family by his side.
Rocky loved his family unconditionally along with his love for the Dallas Cowboys. He was a jokester who loved to fish and sing karaoke.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Kern; daughter, Alison Peters; sons, Hunter Peters and Rocky Kern III; fur dog, Leo; father, Rocky (Lisa) Kern Sr.; mother, Paula (Buzz) Bircher; mother-and-father-in-law, Sheila and Jimmy Kiger; sister, Amanda (Curtis) Antill; brothers, Dusty Delong and Billy Mathis; sister-and-brother-in-law, Vanessa Davis and Seth Petty; grandmother, Sarah Hunt; extended family Tony and Sheila Peters, Phillip Peters, Ronnie and Kim Foster, and Keith Kern; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth “Gramps” Hunt.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Miller Entertainment and DJ Fireball Blue Shots. His wife would also like to thank the Fairfield Medical Center ICU Care Team.
A visitation followed by Caring Cremation® will take place from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130.
