Ruby Lee Peacock, age 96 passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. She was born February 13, 1925 in Weatherford, TX to Olga and Sallie Brawley Fulks. Ruby married Johnny Peacock October 13, 1946. She retired from Safeway Grocery Store after 31 years of employment. Ruby loved to embroidery and enjoyed all sports especially if her grandchildren were involved. She was a long time member of Hilltop Baptist Church and was a current member of the North Side Baptist Church.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters as well as her husband.
Ruby is survived by her sons and their wives; Benny (Carol), Craig (Deborah), and Blaine (Tamara) all of Weatherford. Grandchildren; Amy Sexton, Ryan Peacock, Chad Peacock, Joni Williams, Bliss Young, Colton Peacock, and Ashley Shetter. Great-Grandchildren; Cody and Dalton Sexton, Chloe and Jackie Peacock, Ben and Mark Williams, Lexie Berry, Hogan and Olivia Shetter, Brazos and Paisley Peacock, Warren and Claire Young. Sister in Law Mary Lee Fulks and Brother in Law Norman Morton; also a special friend Lori Peacock and numerous Nieces, Nephew, and other Relatives and Friends.
A visitation will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel on January 20, 2022 from 6pm - 8pm. A service will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel on January 21, 2022 from 2pm - 3pm.
