Ryan Michael Linn

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Ryan Michael Linn, who passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at the age of 20.
Born on April 12, 2004, Ryan brought immeasurable joy and light into the lives of all who knew him. He faced life's challenges with unwavering resilience and a heart full of love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, compassion, and laughter. He had an incredible memory, and anyone who met him quickly learned never to doubt his answers to trivia questions.
Ryan had a deep passion for collecting, a love he inherited from his grandfather "Bibi," with whom he shared a special bond. He especially loved retro video games and classic movies, and was endlessly fascinated by all things nostalgic. He was also a huge fan of Nintendo, his knowledge of the characters, games, and universe was unmatched, and his enthusiasm was contagious.
He truly enjoyed going to school. Ryan attended Elliott and Comstock Elementary Schools and Scoggins Middle School in McKinney, Texas, where he spent much of his life. He was to graduate from high school in May. Our family would like to thank his teachers for their encouragement, patience, and support throughout the years.
Ryan is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Peggy Fabacher Linn, his devoted older sister Maggie, and his paternal grandmother Jean "Grammy" Toca Linn. He is also adored by all of his aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Dr. James M. Linn, Jr. and his maternal grandparents Peter "Bibi" Leon Fabacher and Sharon "Mimi" Burke Fabacher.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA, with a short service to follow.
