Funeral services for Mr. Sammie Lee Daniel of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11 AM at the New Bible Believers Missionary Baptist Church at 204 Hillcrest Drive in Dublin. Interment will follow in Williams Chapel Mission Cemetery in East Dublin.
Sammie Lee Daniel was born on Saturday, January 8, 1944, in Dublin, Georgia, to the late Mr. Oscar Daniel and Mrs. Tommie Lee Daniel. Raised with strong values, a tireless work ethic, and unwavering faith, Sammie lived a life rooted in service, generosity, and quiet strength. He was known for his quick wit, love of family gatherings, and the wisdom he freely shared with anyone who sought his counsel.
Sammie lived a life rooted in service to his community, characterized by generosity and faith. He was renowned for his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Sammie Daniel passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved siblings, Joe Oscar Daniel Jr., Avis Kinsey, and Ernestine Barnes.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lois Whipple Daniel; son, Eric Daniel; granddaughter, Alaska Daniel; siblings, Ruthie Williams, Nona Stateson, Shirley and Hayes Polite, and James Daniel; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
While our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing Sam's legacy of love, service, and faith will live on in all of us.
