Samuel Peter Wills passed away peacefully on the night of March 2, 2025 at his home. He was 66 years of age. Our family is deeply saddened by his passing and we will miss him beyond measure. He was born on February 22, 1959 at Lualualei Naval Base O'ahu, HI. We ask that you remember Pete for his kindness, love and enormous heart. Pete loved nothing better than having a fishing pole in his hand standing on the bank of a river in the quiet of nature or just walking outside in the sun and breeze. He loved to read and had a wealth of knowledge on so many topics. Music brought him joy as did all the pets he had in his life and the ones he fed that had no home. His memory will live in his surviving family: His sister Emily Wills Dayton of Lewiston, Idaho and her children Lane and Joanna Dayton, his sister Maria Wills Anderson (Hans) of Middleton, WI and her 2 children Astrid and Kathryn Anderson, his brother Jonathan Wills of NC, his Aunt Sylvia and Uncle CJ of Lafayette, LA and his most special Teresa Smith of Asheboro, NC. Pete was preceded in death by his father and mother Lloyd and Gwendolyn Wills, and his younger sister, Laurie Elizabeth Wills. His family is holding a private ceremony. Memorials can be made in his name to the Randolph County SPCA or a charity of your choice. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Samuel, please visit our floral store.
