A Memorial service for Sandra Rost, 71, will be Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM at First Christian Church of Hartselle, with Bro. Tim Sutton officiating. Peck Funeral Home assisted the family. No visitation is scheduled at this time.
Ms. Rost died on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born June 14, 1953, in Morgan County, to Fred Rost, Jr. and Hattielene Craig Rost, who preceded her in death.
She was a Graduate of the University of Alabama and of U.A.B., as well. She was employed by the Morgan County School System, working as a Teacher for Priceville Elementary School, prior to her retirement. Ms. Rost was an AEA Member and was on the Board of Directors. She was an avid Bama fan and Priceville Bulldog fan, where she loved watching her great nephew and his friends play sports through the years.
Ms. Rost was a member of the Somerville Road Church of Christ, was a member of the Women's Chamber, and was a past Registrar for Morgan County. She also was a past member and officer of the American Business Women's Association and past member and officer of The Pilot Club.
Survivors include her niece - Angela Case and husband, Nick, and her Great Nephew, Tyler Case, who was the apple of her eye.
In lieu of flowers; please make memorial contributions to the Committee on Church Cooperation (CCC), Hospice of the Valley, or any Animal Rescue.
