Sarah M. Nieland, age 42, of Appleton, passed away on January 30, 2025. Sarah was born on June 16, 1982 to Larry and Jacqueline (Pavlowich) Nieland. She was a graduate of Appleton East High School Class of 2000. After graduation she attended University of Phoenix receiving an Associates Degree in Health Care Management and Globe University receiving an Associate Degree as a Medical Assistant. She worked for over 20 years as a CNA at several local facilities.

Sarah was a very proud mother and loved her family. She loved spending time with family and especially going to the Dells with her kids. She also loved taking the kids to County fairs, whether they liked it or not. Her favorite holiday was Halloween and she loved Trick or Treating. She also had a beloved Pug named CJ.

She will be sadly missed by her partner Anthony “Tony” Krueger, her children Elwood, Malayda, and Aiden, father Larry Nieland, siblings, Bonnie Nieland, Ryan (Holly) Pingel, Sarah Pingel, Angela Pingel, and Matthew Berres, as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Jaqueline Nieland, and step mom, Rae Anne Nieland.

There will be a gathering in celebration of life for Sarah on Thursday February 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wichmann Funeral Homes, Tri County Chapel, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha.

 The family would like to thank the staff of ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton for the care given to Sarah.
