Suzanne Maguire Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 17, 2025.
Suzy gave us her last big smile on August 3, 2025. You would remember her smile. She passed away very peacefully the next evening, surrounded by her family. Dementia took away her mind, but her spirit will live with us forever. Before her went her parents, Helen and Felix Hrapmann and her sister Carol, taken from life too soon. She will be remembered by her children Jimmy, Kristen (and Robert) and Rocky, her grandson Drew, her sister Sally and husband John, her brother-in-law David (and Nancy) and her husband Jim, who loved her beyond measure. Also lots of nieces, nephews and friends. Lots of friends. She was a good Catholic and a true Christian in every way. Suzy was a graduate of Dominican High School, Loyola University and received an MBA from Tulane University. She worked for many years as a CPA and then retired to take care of her kids. And Jim. Suzy and Jim met on a blind date in 1965, were wed in 1972 and were together in marriage for nearly fifty-three years. A special thanks to ACG Hospice, who provided her with compassionate care during the last months of her life. Suzy's life will be celebrated at a private memorial service.
