Chandler City – Taylin Seth Anderson passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of unknown causes on December 12, 2022, at the age of 32 in Chandler Arizona.
Taylin leaves behind countless family, friends, and colleagues whose lives he touched deeply and whose grief knows no bounds. A beloved son and brother, Taylin is survived by his parents, Andrew Martel, and Camille Roundy Anderson, and four siblings: Liselle Elaine Anderson, Kenyon Martel Anderson (Rachel), Jonquille Susan Anderson (Brian), and Quintin Andrew, William Anderson (Sabrina), Grandmothers Elaine C Roundy and Marjorie T Anderson. He was proceeded in death by his Grandfathers Uvon Roundy and Kent M Anderson and Uncle Jimmy L Woolsey.
Taylin grew up and attended elementary, Junior, and Senior High school in Las Vegas Nevada. In 2008 he graduated from Advanced Technologies Academy. Taylin also earned the rank of Eagle scout. He attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas for one year and then served as a volunteer missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for two years in the Cleveland Ohio area. At that time, he developed type 1 diabetes which he managed nobly. Upon his return, he attended one more year at UNLV, then transferred to Brigham Young University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioinformatics. In 2016, Taylin began his career as a software engineer/developer at General Motors where he happily worked until his death.
Taylin spent his hours with those he loved and filled those moments with games, laughter, and music. He was a self-taught pianist and the songs he played will forever memorialize his essence for his friends and family. Taylin had a fantastic wit and droll sense of humor. He was always the first to get the joke and had the most infectious laugh in the room. Taylin was a kind, caring and unpretentious man who infused the technology he loved with the warmth of his humanity in simple and powerful ways. He was an avid gamer and helped build a safe and loving online community for his friends. He achieved "cutting edge" with a group of close friends through intense determination and coordination and was ranked in the top 1% of World of Warcraft players through his guild, Atrophy-Tichondrius. Taylin served multiple roles throughout his life. He was a protector and advocate for his older sister with Down Syndrome. He was a gentle mentor and a kind example to his younger brothers and sister. As the eldest son, Taylin was a rock to his family and friends. He is described as a "gentle giant" and his quiet influence deeply touched the lives of so many. He loved and cared for his family and friends until the end. He will be missed most by those who knew and loved him best.
