Terrell E. "Terry" Whitesel, 86, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
Terry was born on June 3, 1938, in Darke County, Ohio, the son of Fred and Frances (Puterbaugh) Whitesel. Terry married Jana Coryell on May 26, 1961. Terry graduated from both Ball State University and Indiana State University. He was a dedicated teacher and taught at several area schools for 37 years. Terry was a family man and was a man of faith and loved God.
Terry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jana Whitesel; children, Stephanie (Brian) Grunenfelder, Joel Whitesel, and Susan (James) Eichhorn; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and two sisters and one brother.
There are no public services being planned and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Dearest Jan,
Can't begin to tell had sad Renee and I are at the passing of Terry... He was a dear friend and wonderful brother in Christ. He will be missed... Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
