On a crisp fall morning on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Thresia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family before entering the Gates of Heaven to be with Jesus, at the age of 70. She was born on December 25, 1954, in Stigler, Oklahoma to Harve and Beatrice Taylor. She was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, daughter, grandmother, granddaughter, aunt, sister-in-law, niece, and friend.
Thresia worked in the health care industry for over 30 years, mostly as a Nursing Home Administrator until her health forced her to retire. She grew up in Stigler, Oklahoma completing high school and then earning her Nursing Home Administrator degree from the University of Oklahoma. Thresia loved God and her family, as well as her special friends: Mona, Lu, Diana, Candy, Louise, and Karen. She always kept a special bond with her grandchildren, especially her granddaughter, MeghAnn, who helped care for her the last few years.
Thresia was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sue Branham; grandparents, May and Minnie Smith and Jay and Ora Taylor; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Eugene and Nadine Conrad; and her grandson, Hunter Rhodes.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Eugene Conrad of the home in Muskogee; children, Mellissa Rhodes and husband James, Randy Reed and fiancé Stephanie Tippie, all of Muskogee, and Casey Conrad and wife Cassie of Cleveland, Texas; grandchildren, MeghAnn Rhodes and Cason Reed; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family and many friends.
A family conducted celebration of Thresia's life will be held 2PM Friday, October 10, 2025, at Hatbox Dance Building with Pastor Danny Scott officiating. She will be laid to rest at Whitefield Cemetery in Whitefield, Oklahoma at a later date.
The family of Thresia Ann (Taylor) Conrad has entrusted her care and cremation to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Muskogee. (918) 910-8883.
