Thy Ren, 55, of Lowell, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family as she peacefully departed this world.
On August 2, 2008, Thy married Sour Kim, and together they shared a beautiful journey spanning over 16 years.
Born in Battambang, Cambodia, Thy immigrated to the United States in April 1984, seeking new opportunities and a better life. She settled in Lowell, Massachusetts, where she became a longtime resident. Thy attended Lowell High School, forming lasting connections within the community.
Thy was not only a devoted wife but a loving and caring mother to her children. She found immense joy in family gatherings, and also enjoyed karaoke sessions and cookouts.
Thy is survived by her mother, Thuch Hang, of Dracut, MA. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Sour Kim; her sons Timmy Ren and fiancée Nary Poe, Tyler Ren and wife Leah Chin, and Tyrrel Ly, all of Lowell, MA; her daughters, Nee Ren, Tracy Ren, and Natalie Sour, all of Lowell, MA.
Thy will be remembered with love by her brothers Will Ren and wife Lakhana Dos of Dracut, MA, and Sovann Hang of Dracut, MA; her sisters, Thea Ren and husband Kevin Mao, Nancy Ren and husband Paul Sek, and Salina Sok and husband Ray of Dracut, MA.
She leaves behind eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Thy Ren touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and love. May she rest in peace.
FUNERAL NOTICE
Visiting hours Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4-8PM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA.
Funeral Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 9AM at the funeral home followed by a procession to Merrimack Crematory, Merrimack, NH.
