Timothy Daniel Evans of Piedmont, 57, suddenly passed on March, 11, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. Tim lived his entire life on the 127-year-old Evans Family Farm in Piedmont, South Carolina.
He was a 1985 graduate of Wren High School and a 1990 graduate of Clemson University earning a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed at Bosch Industries for over 30 years.
Tim is survived by his father Danny W. Evans of Piedmont, his three sisters, Deborah Taylor (Stephen) Warner Robins, Kimm Cason (Jim) Pelzer and Kamm Shoaf (Mark) Piedmont; two nephews, Daniel Taylor (Colleen) Colorado Springs and Matthew Taylor (Katie) Piedmont; and grandnephews, Clayten and Eli.
Tim is predeceased by his loving mother, Effie Foster Evans and his Uncle Wilton Evans.
Tim will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory and heart prints will live on by his family, friends and countless lives he touched. His love for his family was boundless. His laughter and witty humor always filled the room.
Tim was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. He loved farming, was an outdoorsman and loved hunting. He also was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Clemson Tigers fan and enjoyed playing tennis, watching soccer, hockey and other sports on television.
In celebrating Tim's life, let us remember the simple joys he cherished: laughter with loved ones, the warmth of family gatherings and the love that binds us all together.
The Evans Family extends our love and prayers to all our Church Families, friends and the many that did not even know Tim. Thank you for your many prayers and support in so many ways during Tim's illness, and a special thanks to Interim Healthcare and Tim's doctors, nurses and support staff at St. Frances Cancer Center.
In lieu of flowers please donate to The American Cancer Society or a place of your choice.
A Celebration of Life for Tim will be Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Bethesda United Methodist Church, Powdersville, South Carolina. Visitation will be in the church sanctuary from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The family ask you to Honor Tim by wearing causal clothing.

I just heard about Tim's passing away a few weeks ago. I'm really shocked. He's too young. I send my best to the Evans family. I am so sorry to hear this news. He was a good man. All my memories of him are good. He will be missed.

To the Evans family let me extend my condolences on the loss of a wonderful human being and friend. We played on the same baseball team in middle school and were friends for many years. From the beginning Tim was gregarious and friendly making sure everyone on our team felt welcomed and included. I´m happy to say our friendship continued many years. We gathered at Tim´s house for bonfires and football games most Saturdays in the fall which always had large turnouts because Tim had tons of friends! He always made everyone feel welcome at his house and made sure everyone was having fun! I am proud to have known him and even more proud to call home my friend. God speed brother!

I am so very sorry for your loss. I was one of Tim's roommates at Clemson. He was a good friend. We could tell a lot of tales about each other. I live in NC and Pastor a church up here otherwise I would come to the Celebration of Life. Good times we had together. He will be missed!
