Timothy Scot Harley, 64, of East Hartford, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 12, 2024. Timothy was born on May 6, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Kenneth G. and Carol M. (Clegg) Harley.
Tim and Deborah (Heath) Harley, his wife of years, have resided in East Hartford for most of that time. He graduated from Manchester High School in 1977 and went on to receive an Associate's degree from Manchester Community College. Tim worked his entire career as a machinist for Pratt, and several local machine shops. In leisure time, Tim and Deb enjoyed golf, softball, bowling and UConn football together. They spent time camping and enjoying Cape Cod and Lake Sabego, Maine. Tim also had a passion for cooking and making things grow. He always lent a hand with his Mom and Dad's yard work and appointments and loved spending time with his nephew Brandon fishing and working on pinewood derby projects.
Besides his wife and parents, Timothy is survived by his siblings, Thomas Harley and his wife Christine, Steven Harley and his wife Pamela, and Karen Harley; his several beloved nieces and nephews; and in-laws, Ernest and Patricia Heath.
Relatives and friends are invited to the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St. on Saturday, April 27 at 11:00 a.m. for a Funeral Home Service. The burial will take place privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ASPCA and Foodshare.
