Timothy M Williams
Retirement 2016
HQDA CIO/G6
Tim Williams received a capstone appointment at Army CIO/G6 which led to a promotion and an opportunity to show his talent as a training manager.
During his tenure in the Civilian IT Career Program (CP34) Tim tripled the delivery of outreach technical training classes and instituted virtual learning that crossed time zones and brought audiences together from across the Continental US and Alaska/Hawaii. He was known throughout CP34 as an advisor and friend to all and promoted outreach training for 13,000 Army IT Civilians in the US, Europe and Asia.
At his retirement in 2016 Tim received the Superior Civilian Service Award for promoting training programs and services as models for lifelong learning. Tim Williams will be remembered for his industrious work ethic, friendly and helpful demeanor, and skills in managing dynamic IT training programs.
