Tonni Olive Yaeger, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 77.

Born on February 26, 1947, in Cincinnati, Tonni was the daughter of the late Ted and Olive Yaeger. She was a graduate of Colerain High School, Class of 1965, and was raised alongside her two siblings, Ted and Terry Yaeger. Tonni was deeply loved by her family throughout her life.

Tonni was a mother to three children: Jamie Zloba, Kelly Mathes (deceased), and Brandon Yaeger. She was a grandmother to nine grandchildren and a great-grandmother to ten. She took great joy in spending time with family, sharing her wisdom, love, and infectious smile and laughter.

Tonni’s professional life was marked by her success as a sales associate for GE Lighting, where she earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues. In addition to her work with GE, Tonni also found fulfillment as a Jazzercise instructor, helping others lead active and healthy lives.

Tonni was known for her vibrant personality and warm, welcoming spirit. She had a beautiful smile that could light up any room and a love for life that was evident in everything she did. She enjoyed sitting poolside, surrounded by friends, and watching college football, especially with those she loved. She also adored the serene beauty of the Gulf Coast beaches, where she spent many happy hours soaking up the sun and enjoying the ocean breeze.

Tonni’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her legacy of kindness, joy, and love will live on through her family and the many lives she touched.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home in College Hill. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Tonni’s life and the memories she leaves behind.

She will be greatly missed, but her love and spirit will never be forgotten.
