Tracy Parsons Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Tracy Todd "Tpa" Parsons, 63, of Acton was restored to full health on May 22, 2025, surrounded by family.
Born to Roy and Deanne on December 19, 1961, Tracy grew up in Greenfield, where he developed a passion for all things sports. As a graduate of Warren Central High School in 1980 he left behind a legacy of numerous athletic accomplishments. After attending the University of Evansville, Tracy moved back to Indianapolis where he met the love of his life Mitzi Parsons. Tracy and his Mitz married on June 6, 1986, starting a beautiful life together. During this time, he also became obedient to the gospel and became a follower of Christ.
Tracy spent many years working as an audio engineer for H. H. Gregg, but his greatest contribution was working with special needs children in Franklin Township. He retired in 2016 to become full time Tpa for his grandchildren.
His love and generosity continue through his loving wife of nearly 39 years, Mitzi Suzanne (Shepherd) Parsons; two sons, Cody (Natalie) Parsons and Keegan Parsons; one daughter, Kassidi (Bryan) Rios; six grandchildren, Zander, Lennix, Karrah, and Jorgie Rios and Miles and Asher Parsons. He is also survived by his mother, Deanne Arthur; two brothers, Craig and Kirk (Sherry); and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a time for friends to visit and celebrate Tracy's life on Friday May 30th from 4 PM to 6 PM with a service to follow at Wilson St Pierre Funeral Home on Thompson Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you pay it forward through a random act of kindness.
