Trista Janeé Coburn of Lexington, KY was a loving caring daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin niece and friend. She left this world suddenly on December 15, 2024 at age 38. She was born to Darrel and Jan Coburn on January 11, 1986 in Omaha, Nebraska. Trista was a 2004 graduate of Bath County High School. She received an Associate of Arts Degree from Maysville Community College. While attending college, Trista got a part time job at Sun Tan City in Maysville which began a career of 18 years with Glow Brands. Her most recent position was in the corporate office as Director of Learning and Development for Sun Tan City, Planet Fitness, Buff City Soap and others. Trista was a member of New Life Assembly of God in Winchester where she had served on the leadership team. Her pride and joy were her children supporting them and helping them excel in academics and sports. Whether it was attendance at ballgames both near and far working a concession stand, or helping her children create school projects, Trista was there for her kids. She was extremely creative in everything she did. She enjoyed reading mysteries, shopping trips with her kids and hosting family holiday gatherings. Left behind to cherish her memory include her parents of Lexington; her children, Aniyah White of Lexington, Kavery and Jayce Myrick of Lexington, brothers Kent (Kristian) Coburn of Ewing, KY and Kyle Coburn of Lexington; uncles and aunts, Richard and Renee Van Huss of Winchester, KY and Marci Reynolds of Oberlin, Kansas; nephews, Evan and Bryce Coburn of Ewing; cousins, Gabe (Kalene) Van Huss, Kala (Jeff) Campbell, Lyndsi (David Epp, Grant (Ruth) Reynolds, Amber Reynolds and numerous other family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Albert and Louise Coburn and James and Mary Van Huss.
Visitation will be Friday, December 20, 2024 from 5-8 pm at Kerr Brothers-Harrodsburg Road and on Saturday December 21st from 11 am 12 pm with funeral services to follow at the same location. The officiant is Pastor Richard Van Huss. Trista's final resting place is Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Nicholasville.
