Born August 2, 1997, in Marquette, Tyler was raised in Marquette where he very early developed a love of the outdoors that only increased as he got older. He graduated from Marquette Senior High School, Class of 2015, and attended Northern Michigan University for two years. He was employed at UP Asbestos and Abatement before relocating to Buffalo, New York, where he worked for Ontario Specialty Contracting. The lure of the Upper Peninsula recently brought Tyler back to Marquette where he was employed through Laborers Union Local 1329. In his spare time, Tyler loved fishing, going to camp, four wheeling, hiking, and, in general, just hanging out with his friends more than anything.
Tyler is survived by his mother and father, Amy (Duquette) and Nicholas Hamari; his sisters, Olivia and Madelyn Hamari; maternal grandmother, Patricia (Sandy VanWormer) Nadeau; paternal grandparents, Gary and Mary Mercure, and Darryl and Vicki Hamari; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Duquette.
Friends may call at Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral and Cremation Services on Saturday, August 20, beginning at 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Pastor Chad Mager will officiate. A reception will be held during and following the visitation. Interment will be made in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Tyler was a good friend and Neighbor of mine for almost 2 years in Buffalo. He was a wonderful soul. He was always around to lend a helping hand whenever anyone was in need. He would never turn his back when a someone needed help. He would always offer food and was always ready to share whatever he had with others. When I had car issues he gave me rides, when I hurt my back and could not walk he helped me. He was very much a little brother type and I think he fell into that roll for many people around him. He loved his family and Mom and always talked about them highly. I will miss Tyler and will hold dear the memories of his friendship and kindness.
