Yuvon Mullins Obituary

Yuvon was the daughter of the late Robert Edward Lee Cole and Madgie F. Wimmer Cole. She was a member of the Smith Ridge Holiness Church. Yuvon was a loving, wonderful wife, mother, ma maw, sister, and aunt. She loved to cook, and if people left her home hungry, it was their own fault because they didn't eat. She will be missed by all her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Robert D. Cole, Hubert Cole, Dennie Cole, and Riley RC Cole; and sisters, Joyce Honaker, Girtrue Jackson and Lois Houchins. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by:

Daughter, Vonda Mullins of Cedar Bluff, VA
Son, Daniel Mullins and his wife, Rebekah of Whitewood, VA
Sisters-in-law:
Peggy Cole of Jolo, WV

Ola Joyce Mullins
Nora Cole of Easley, SC
Frances Cole of Jolo, WV
Shirley Cole of Greeneville, SC
Brother in Law: Ray Houchins of Wytheville, Va
Ma Maw's four grandsons, whom she dearly loved:

Several nieces, nephews, also survive along with a host of family and friends.
Funeral services for Yuvon Mullins will be conducted Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 1pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Harlan Deskins and Rev. Charlie Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at the Cole Cemtery on White Mountain near Jewell Valley, Virginia. Grandsons, Nathan Houchins, and Johnny Lee Honaker will serve as pallbearers. Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family from 6pm to 8pm on Monday evening at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia.
