Alicia Sweeney

Alicia Sweeney, age 34, of Quincy passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Alicia was born in Brookline then raised and educated in Quincy where she graduated high school in 2008. She then attended Bunker Hill Community College.

       Alicia has been with her life partner Marc since 2016. She loved her cats Murphy and Lola even more than she loved days at the beach or a delicious coffee from Coffee Break. Alicia worked as a paralegal in Newton for almost 10 years. She had great perspective on life by always appreciating the value that everyone brought to the table, regardless of their faults.

       Alicia is the daughter of Patricia Bell of Weymouth and the late Patrick Sweeney. She is survived by her significant other Marc Thibeau of Quincy. She is the cherished "Auntie Alicia" to many nieces and nephews, and she is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Although she left us too soon, Alicia was selfless and her final wishes were to be an organ donor. She was able to make a difference in four peoples’ lives.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Alicia from 10am-12pm on Monday, April 22, 2024 at C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA 02190. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at noon followed by a burial at Village Cemetery, Weymouth at 1:15pm.
