Andrew Anthony Beverly

Andrew Anthony Beverly was born on August 23, 1973, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His proud parents are Earllene and Jesse Beverly. He entered eternal rest on April 6, 2025.
He was a 1991 graduate of Alfred Lawless Senior High School. From there, he attended Delgado Community College.
Andrew was a dedicated and hardworking employee of UPS for 12 years and an employee of LCMC for 5 years.
At the age of 23, Andrew gave his life to Christ and was baptized (along with his then, fiancé, Ronique Sylva) at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Fred J. Luter, Jr.
Andrew and Ronique married in I999, and were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Laila Allyssa Beverly and Rhori Ontrelle Beverly, whom they both loved dearly.
Having a brilliant mind, Andrew enjoyed restoration and repair work, fishing, entering car shows, dancing, attending second lines and helping others. He especially loved spending time with his family and taking his girls wherever they needed to go. He was an avid swim dad, softball dad, and dance dad, catering to his truly adored daughters' every need or desire.
Left to cherish Andrew's memories are his devoted wife of 26 years–Ronique Sylva-Beverly; his treasured daughters–Laila and Rhori Beverly; his loving parents–Earllene and Jesse Beverly; his parents-in-law–Tilton and Lina Hunter; and his siblings–Yolanda Jones (James), Andrea Beverly (Dorian), Jesse Beverly, III (Amarilys), and Jamal Beverly.
He was also blessed with a host of caring aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, too numerous to name, and his brother and sister from another mother–Andrew Taylor, Jr. and Raven Taylor. Also included are his godchildren–Robert Odoms, Jr., Derrick Winfield, and D'Andrea Beverly; his godmother–Colleen Taylor; and a multitude of cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Andrew Anthony Beverly was preceded in death by his grandparents; his godfather–Chester Jason; and many aunties, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones.
Relatives; friends of the family; Pastors, Officers, and members of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, Central Missionary Baptist Church, and neighboring churches; and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Rho Pi Omega Chapter, are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at:
Franklin Avenue Baptist Church 8282 I-10 Service Road., New Orleans, LA 70126, on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
Pastor Fred J. Luter, Jr. will officiate.The Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM at the above-mentioned church.
The final viewing ends at 10:00 AM, sharp. The casket will Not be Reopened once the service begins.
The Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Terrytown, LA 70056.
