A Memorial Service will be held at Church on The Move on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10 a.m. with Pastors Troy and Tim officiating. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at the New Beginnings Hall, 3908 SE Main St, Roswell, NM 88203, following the Memorial Service.
On August 1, 1993, Antonio Ramon Ramirez was born to Hector and Valerie Soliz-Ramirez in Long Beach, CA. He attended high school at Goddard High School where he graduated in 2012. Following graduation, he enlisted in the US Army, where he received the rank of Sargent. He married Santanna Ramirez on August 1, 2022, in Roswell, NM, where they shared a home with his 2 stepdaughters Haylie and Kylah and their miracle baby son, Nico. Santanna was the love of his life.
After honorably serving in the US Army, he worked a number of jobs where he made lifelong friends. Including Jennifer Homes, Larry's Gun Shop, Rains Surveying, and SCP Security. Tony was the type of person to always help anyone in need. He had a generous heart and would give anything he had to anyone who needed it. He was a pillar of strength for many in his circle. He loved to protect comfort and make sure everyone felt loved and accepted. He had a deep love for his family and friends. He loved all animals and always tried to bring them home. His love for football grew with him, from playing in Roswell youth football league, Berrendo and all through his high school years. His favorite team was the Las Vegas Raiders and he loved spending game days with his family and friends. He also loved wrestling and would wrestle with family and friends for a laugh. His favorite things were outdoor activities, like hunting with family and friends. He especially loved fishing with his Papo, Joe Soliz. His pride and joy were his children, he would often say they were the best thing to happen to him. He loved going for rides on his motorcycle.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Santanna Ramirez; 2 stepdaughters: Haylie and Kylah Sparks; son, Nico Ramirez; father, Hector Ramirez and wife, Laura Orozco; mother, Valerie Soliz-Ramirez; siblings: Greg Ramirez, Naomi Ramirez and Mila Ramirez; niece, Sofia Ramirez; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; grandparents: Joe and Ester Soliz; and grandmother, Emma Piñon.
Tony is preceded in death by grandparent, Andrew Ramirez; and his best friends: David Avina, Tyler Armstrong, and Dominic Burrola.
