April had a profound ability to make others smile, even in the face of her own challenges. Her strength and resilience, even through her trials, spoke volumes of her character. She found immense happiness in spending time with her family and friends, with a special affection for her children and grandchildren.
Her warmth, love, and one of a kind personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
April leaves behind her daughter, Aleshia Rogers; son, Ari Atkins; grandchildren, Frayah, Mason, Jaxon, and Amyla; mother and step-father, Bobbi and Virgil Harrell; father, John Atkins; brothers, John Atkins, Jr., Austin Atkins, and Cory Atkins; sister, Elizabeth Atkins; and many other family members, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Her legacy of love, despite the struggles she faced, serves as a reminder of her enduring strength and the impact she had on those around her.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home.
May she rest in peace, reunited with her son, and may their memory continue to inspire and guide us.
