The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Noon on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Wolfe Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronald Bryant officiating. The family requests a closed service; however, guests will be received in the parlor outside the chapel.
A native of Fort Mill, Bascom was a son of Rachael Marie Wilson and Bascom Donald Cranshaw IV. He graduated from Nation Ford High School in 2018 and was an arborist. A maverick, Bascom loved nature. He loved everything from hunting and fishing to gardening with his mother, and truly found his calling as an arborist. His favorite place in the world is his grandparent's house in Edisto Island, South Carolina.
Carrying his memory forward are his mother, Rachael Marie Wilson; his father, Bascom Donald Cranshaw IV; his sister, Hannah Marie Rozier; and his grandparents, Bobby and Janice Wilson. Bascom is also remembered by many, many loving friends. He had a deep appreciation for connecting with any person he met and is deeply beloved in his community. He is preceded by his grandparents Bascom Donald Cranshaw III and Frances George Cranshaw.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Forest Foundation. NFF has the target to plant 50 million trees, and every dollar donated will plant a seedling. Please visit their website for an ease of donation.

You are a Light and will always be remembered for your loyalty and consideration of all around you. All the times in the freezing cold and rain that you would stay and keep working on whatever vehicle y'all were working on at the time . Always with a smile and nothing brought you down. You were the first to come see me when we lost 'Papa Ray' 9 weeks ago. Now this. Love you Bascom.
