With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Cameron Blake Anderson on August 23, 2024. Cameron, a cherished son, brother, father and husband. He was born on December 17, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah. His radiant spirit and boundless love will forever be missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire all those he left behind.
Cameron was an extraordinary individual who embraced life with a passion and dedication that was both inspiring and contagious. He was not only respected but also loved for his kindness, generosity, and the joy he brought into the lives of others.
Cameron graduated from Lone Peak High School in 2010. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Mexico City, and Mexico City South Missions.
He married Mckinnah Harrison of Fillmore Utah on December 7, 2013.
They have 5 children. Kynzlee 9, Jaxon 8, Zaylee 3, Millie 2 1/2 and Quincey 2 1/2.
He is also survived by his parents, Clay and Melony Anderson of South Jordan, Utah. Brothers Joshua (Katy) Anderson, Brayden (Chelsea) Anderson and his big sister Lyndsay Privett. He is also survived by his 97 year old grand father Alvin S Anderson of Holladay Utah and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Donna Euland Yates Anderson and Frances Lucille Wilson Mounteer. Also by his grandfather Loren Dale Mounteer and 3 cousins Dexter Morris, Carter Nelson, and Troy Anderson.
He fought his battle with mental illness valiantly. He always had a smile and room in his heart for everyone. He was an incredible son, husband and father, and brother.
His last selfless act was to adopt their 3 year old they had from birth, 2 days before his death. We are so grateful to have her as part of our forever family.
He will be greatly missed, especially his hugs and his smiles.
