Carl E Gamble

Carl E. Gamble went to his heavenly home on Friday, June 13th, 2025. He was 80 years old. He passed away at home with family and friends by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents George Clyde and Lois Gamble, brothers Ray Gamble and Jackie Gamble, sister Clara L. Gamble, and his son Randy Gamble.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patsy Rogers Gamble, daughter Carla L. Gamble, brother Jimmy Lee Gamble, sister Anne Marie Gamble, 3 grandsons Hunter Gamble, Tanner Gamble (Bree), and Noah Gamble, granddaughter Gracie Croswell, and 4 beautiful great-grandchildren.
He attended McAdory High School where he graduated in 1963. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He loved his country.
After his love of family, came his church, Canaan Baptist. He was a member for 51 years and immediately started teaching Sunday School. He started teaching children and gradually moved to teaching adults until he couldn't do it anymore due to his health. He continued to view services and take communion at home, because of the church's love for him.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Wednesday, June 18th, 2025 at Canaan Baptist Church, 2543 Morgan Road, Bessemer, AL 35022. Visitation 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM with funeral following. Burial at Highland Memorial Gardens. Bro. Chuck Dunning will officiate.
Pallbearers are Hunter Gamble, Tanner Gamble, Noah Gamble, Jimmie Stephens, Bryan Gamble, James (Ike) Gamble, and Tom Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are the deacons of Canaan Baptist Church and dear friend Kenny Dodson.
