Carol Ann LaFosse
Jennings: Carol Ann LaFosse, 86, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 17, 2023. Carol was born in Wausau, WI on December 23, 1936, and was the daughter of Carlton & Frances Olson. Carol married the love of her life, James Ray LaFosse and they raised five children together. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Carol enjoyed sewing, doing crossword puzzles; Carol loved spending time with all of her family, especially her grandchildren. Above all, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband, James Ray LaFosse of Jennings, LA; her two sons, James R. LaFosse, Jr. (Marie) of El Paso, TX, Paul LaFosse of Jennings, LA; her three daughters, Linda Howard of Lake Arthur, LA, Cindy Perez of Lake Arthur, LA, Therese LaFosse of Jennings, LA; her brother, Carlton Olson of Wausau, WI; her ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Carlton & Frances Olson; her sister, Lois Wetterneck.
Services honoring Carol's life will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 12:30 PM. Burial will be in Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
A gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023, from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA with a rosary being recited at 11:00 AM.
