I "was forced" to join a pool by my spinal surgeon, and told to walk backward to heal muscles. I hadn't been in a pool since a child. Buy a swim suit, join a group! Naked in the shower room! Oh no! Remember a combination lock! Awful. One of the first people I met was Sue. She was welcoming and took me under her arm and made me comfortable and not embarrassed. She had the most gorgeous hair an truly was beautiful inside and outside. Sue told me her husband made maple syrup and until he stopped, we would purchase the local delicious golden nectar. We both enjoyed the pool friendships. I was saddened when she had to leave, then within a year my spine forced me to leave the pool also. She had a warm heart and I think of the memories often. We are so sorry about her passing.
