Clark Lester Lightfoot, age 15, of Lakewood Wisconsin, was called to rest in the Lord's arms on the evening of Saturday December 7th, 2024 as the result of a single ATV accident. Clark was born March 27th, 2009 in Minocqua, Wisconsin, son to loving parents: Seth and Naomi (DeWilde) Lightfoot. Clark attended Glenbrook Elementary School in Pulaski, WI followed by Pulaski Middle School and high school up until his freshman year. Clark was an outstanding and active athlete in the Pulaski school district participating in many sports including rugby, football, baseball, wrestling, and golf. Clark participated in Pulaski's ice fishing club enjoying his love for the outdoors. The summer of Clark's freshman year 2024, at age 15, he and his parents moved to Lakewood, Wisconsin where he attended Wabeno High School starting his sophomore year. Clark worked at the popular local ice cream shop in Lakewood, Northern Delights. Clark played for Wabeno's JV and varsity football team in the fall and had just joined the Wabeno wrestling team. Clark especially enjoyed shop class and aspired to become a lineman following in his father Seth's footsteps and mentioned possibly being a weatherman if he knew "what the benefits were."
Clark is survived by his loving parents: Seth and Naomi Lightfoot of Lakewood, WI; siblings Nadia and Mason Trinh of Pulaski, WI, Hunter and Sayge Stojadinovic of Onalaska, WI; great grandparents Clark and Yvonne Williams of Strum, WI; grandparents Mike and Kath Lightfoot of Alma, WI, and Doreen DeWilde of Two Rivers, WI. Clark is survived by his aunts and uncles, Nate Lightfoot of Arcadia, WI (Ben and Grace), Jason and Rachel Thron of Windsor, CO (Tegan and Ava).
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents James and Marcy Lightfoot, Shirley Poeschel, Margaret and Lester Strohm; and his grandfather Edward DeWilde. Clark was an active outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting. He was greatly fond of, and loved, his home in Lakewood where he made memories boating, swimming, fishing, hunting, making new things, and enjoying all that nature had to offer with his family and friends. He enjoyed all things life had to offer him, no matter how big or small, with the biggest smile on his face, living life to the fullest. Clark had a remarkable faith and connection to the Lord, and was confirmed and participated in the youth group at Mount Olive Lutheran in Suamico, Wisconsin. He is a child of God and an overwhelmingly loved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, teammate, and friend to all of those in his life. Life can be short, but that doesn't matter when you spend everyday doing what you love, with who you love, and that is exactly what Clark spent his life doing. Clark will leave all of those in his life with unforgettable and irreplaceable memories that will last a lifetime. No words can describe how much he will forever be missed and loved. Clark has been laid to rest and called home to the arms of the Lord in Heaven. He will be buried in Lakewood, WI.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home (116 S. Krueger Street Suring, WI 54174). A private memorial service will follow at 12:30 pm for close family and friends. The service will be livestreamed from Gruetzmacher Funeral Home's Facebook Page. The burial will follow at Lakewood Forest Cemetery, Lakewood, WI.
Flowers, cards, and donations may be mailed to the Gruetzmacher Funeral Home (P.O. Box 223 Suring, WI 54174) where they will be passed onto family or mailed directly to the Lightfoot residence at P.O. Box 225, Lakewood, WI 54138.
