Colton Patrick Tanner, age 25, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 12, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on May 22, 1999, in Georgetown, Kentucky. Colton graduated South Oldham High School and later attended the University of Kentucky. Colton was a beloved son, brother, partner, and friend, whose bright smile and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone around him. He loved his job as medical assistant for Norton Healthcare and getting the opportunity to give back to his community. He was extremely passionate about the outdoors. Colton was an avid alligator hunter. his favorite hunting partner was, Miley his German Shorthair Pointer.
He was proceeded in death by his grandfather, William "Bill" DiGiammarino. He is survived by his loving parents, George and Melissa Tanner; beloved sister, Lauren Tanner; the love of his life, Hannah Allard; Grandmother, Dolores Digiammarino, of Stow, Ohio; Grandparents, Noah and Linda Tanner, of Owensboro, Kentucky; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, East Louisville, 12900 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40243. A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 17, at 11:00 am, at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to be made in Colton's honor to the donor's charity of choice.
