Cynthia A. "Cindy" Lauterbach (nee Olach), age 64, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1964, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Endeavor Health Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. She was born on May 6, 1960, in Chicago, IL.
Beloved wife of Donald E. "Don" Lauterbach, whom she married February 13, 1998, loving mother of Jamie (Philip) Wilkey of Naperville, Justin (Kristin) Lauterbach of Spring Grove, IL and Colleen (Ben) Trela of Aurora, IL, adored grandmother of Owen, Ava and Ella; Everett and Charlotte; Lily and Jacob, devoted daughter of the late William and Lorraine (nee Kmieciak) Olach, dear sister of Judy (Dave) Jarvis, Bill Olach, Debbie St. John, Mark (Lori) Olach, Lorrie (Greg) Chrisos, the late Patricia Olach, the late Greg Olach and the late Tom Olach, fond sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, great-aunt and friend of many. Cindy will be dearly missed by Hugo "Hugs," her German Shepherd Rottweiler mix.
Cindy grew up in Naperville, attended Elmwood Elementary School, Lincoln Junior High School and was a 1978 graduate of Naperville Central High School. A loving and devoted homemaker, Cindy was also employed for many years in sales with Premier Pool & Spa in Lincoln, IL. Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville, IL 60540.
A celebration of Cindy's life will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 10:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Brian Wise officiating.
Interment will follow at Naperville Cemetery.
