Danny Kim Palos

Chesapeake, VA Danny K. Palos passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday Morning Nov. 12, 2024, in his home. He was born on Saturday July 20, 1963 in Portsmouth, VA to Ben Fernandez and Jewell Culbertson Palos. Danny was a master carpenter and worked for Classic Floors of Virginia, Inc. He was a loving son and was a very loving and supportive father, always there for whatever his children's needs may be. He adored his grandchildren who were the apple of his eye. He loved to fish and loved and sorely missed his Four-Legged Canine companion affectionately known as "Gunner" or "G". Danny was a friend to all and had a very kind and loving spirit. He lost his sister Debra Palos Lazo, on September 20, 2023. Including His parents, Danny is survived by his daughter, Mylia Danielle Nora Haugh and husband, Daniel; his two sons, Daniel B. Palos and Travis Allen Drayer; his two grandchildren, Lydia McNeil and Bennett Haugh; his two sisters, Melisa J. Schlosser and husband Scott and Margarita Palos; and his two brothers, David K. Palos and Kevin M. Palos and his wife Kristen, all of Chesapeake, VA. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 2:50 PM at Oman Funeral Home and Crematory, 653 Cedar Rd., Chesapeake, VA 23322. His Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Whitten of Great Bridge Church of Christ will officiate.
