Darrell Lynn Holder

Darrell was born on September 10, 1967, and passed away in his home on April 1, 2024. Darrell worked at Cryovac for over twenty years and loved his job. He loved being outdoors and spent his spare time in the backyard making sure it stayed beautiful year-round. He was a huge Jimmy Buffet fan and loved Texas Tech. Darrell married his soul mate, Lori Wilsford on September 8, 1995 and spent the rest of his life spoiling her and loving her unconditionally.
The celebration of life scheduled to be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 5:00 p.m., in Scotland Park is canceled due to the weather.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Wanda Holder. Darrell left behind two daughters, Mandi Trampert and husband Derek, and Heather Simmons and husband Nick. His brothers, Greg, Ron, Steve, and two sisters, Renee and Michelle. He also left behind seven grandchildren: Kayla Daniel and husband James, Jaden Rodgers and husband Keldon, Jordy Dula and husband Stephen, Hagan Trampert, Jace Roberson, Dellen Koetter and spouse Kaitlyn, Kami Arrington, and husband Joseph. Darrell was so proud to be a PeePaw, it showed in his face every time his grandchildren were around. They were the light of his life, and he was even prouder when he became a great-grandfather to his six great-grandchildren: Sawyer, Asher, Jentri, Cooper, Kailor, and Whitley. Everything he did while on this earth was to make sure his wife, kids and grands knew how much he loved them every day.
