On Monday May 6, 2024, David J. Tunney passed away suddenly in his home. Beloved son of the late Patrick and Mary Coyne Tunney. David is survived by his sisters, Mary Ellen Tunney, Kathleen Tunney, and Jane Marie Ladd (Ronald), and was predeceased by his brother, Tom Tunney. David was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1970, and earned a B.S. Degree in Nursing from Wayne State University. He retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oakland. Contributions may be made in David's name to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. Funeral Services and Interment will be private. Arrangements by John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. I always enjoyed watching TV with David he loved golf and football. Never enjoyed either until I started watching it with him. David you will be truly missed.
