Dennis George Bushman, age 72, a long time resident of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 30, 2025. He was born November 11, 1952 in Nekoosa, WI, son of the late Ronald and Doris (Schroepfer) Bushman and was a graduate of Assumption High School, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Class of 1970.
After high school, Dennis attended St. Norbert College. He was a very successful Realtor in the Green Bay area for many years. Dennis was a faithful member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Green Bay and donated many relics to their museum.
Dennis had a passion for travel and collecting antiques. He loved to entertain friends and family. Tending to his beautiful flower gardens was one of his favorite past times. Because of his mother, he became an avid Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packer fan.
Dennis is survived by his siblings, Ron (Lynn Houle) Bushman and Kathryn Smith and a brother-in-law, Bob Saner. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his partner, Bob Kozak, his sister, Sandra Saner, his sister, Mary Bushman, sister-in-law, Jeanne Bushman and a brother-in-law, Mike Smith.
A committal service for Dennis will be held at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum (2770 Bay Settlement Rd., Green Bay, WI), Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 2 PM. A celebration of life for Dennis and his mother, Doris, will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (711 Prospect Ave., Nekoosa, WI), Monday, May 19, 2025 from 9 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the National Kidney Foundation or Unity Hospice in Dennis' name are appreciated.
