Dr. E. W. (Bill) Logan, Jr.

age 95 of Patterson Township went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2024. The family's comfort comes from knowing that he is in Heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bill was born on Feb. 11, 1929 to Ernest W. and Martha Logan in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended Avonworth High School, Mercersburg Academy, Grove City College and University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry, 1954. He practiced dentistry in the Navy from 1954-1956. He opened his dental practice in New Brighton, PA, where he served the community for 36 years. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and served in many capacities.

Bill is survived by his wife Jeanne, married 73 years. Children: Carol {Bob} Mensing of Prescott AZ, Marjorie {Steve} Jergesen of Knoxville TN., Dr. William E. {Gretchen} Logan of Patterson Township and John {Kim} Logan of Imperial PA., as well as six grandchildren, Jennifer Miller, Bethany Boutwell, Joshua Logan, Zachary Logan, Breanna Logan and Benjamin Logan. A grandson Wesley Mensing went to heaven in 2015. Bill has five great grandchildren, Ryan and Grace Miller, Jackson and Samuel Boutwell, and Easton Baran.

Bill spent his final years at Franciscan Manor where he received excellent care from the staff who emphasized caring and concern.

Family and friends will gather at Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home, Inc., 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 (Randy R. Wheeler, supervisor, 724-843-2500) on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at 3:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Williamsburg Chapel Mausoleum at Beaver Falls Cemetery.

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 1154 Shenango Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
