Evelyn Lowe passed away peacefully on April 14th in Toms River, NJ, she was 90 years old. Evelyn was born in Princeton, NJ to Harold Thompson and Mae Whittaker.
Evelyn lived in Cranbury, Etra, Princeton Junction and Hightstown, NJ. Evelyn graduated from Hightstown HS then became a proud homemaker for many years. She worked as a sales associate at the Imagine clothing store in Hightstown for 12 years later in life.
Evelyn moved to Holiday City Berkely in 2004, Evelyn was a member of many clubs and organizations in Holiday City Berkely, always enjoying dancing and singing at the clubhouse.
Evelyn loved to cook, always sharing recipes with family and friends. Evelyn always enjoyed a good cookie, Entenmann's Cake, ice cream and a funny joke. Evelyn affectionately known as "Mom-Mom" filled the lives of her loved ones with love and laughter constantly.
Evelyn is predeceased by her husband Robert Lowe, her parents and sister Patsy. She is survived by her loving daughter Theresa Erb and husband Douglas of Toms River, son Thomas Tammaro and wife Lisa of Philadelphia, grandsons Christopher Erb of Fort Collins, CO., Nicholas Erb and wife Christina of Toms River and Scott Erb of Toms River.
She is also survived by her great grandchildren Taylor Erb and Alex Erb, stepdaughter Wendy Palmieri and husband Tom of Yardley, PA, stepson Steven Lowe of Yardley, PA., sister-in-law Arlene Bernardo and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Evelyn's family would like to thank all the wonderful and kind caregivers who brought friendship and happiness to her life. In lieu of flowers kindly send a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Evelyn's name.
