Gregory Paul Moor, a beloved son, brother, uncle, friend, and member of the Hartville community, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on August 18, 1954, in Canton, Ohio, Gregory was a proud graduate of Lake High School, class of 1973. He continued his education at Kent State University and then at the Atlantic School of Hartford, always pursuing knowledge and growth.

Greg's career was marked by dedication and versatility; he began working at London's Candy, where he shared his sweet spirit with colleagues and customers alike. More recently, he served as a truck driver for Logan Trucking.

Known for his gentle demeanor and sweet soul, Gregory had a passion for many things in life. He cherished time spent in the kitchen, exploring recipes and creating delicious meals that brought family and friends together. His love for family genealogy sparked his desire to connect with his roots, and he thrived during family reunions where laughter, stories, and love filled the air. Additionally, Gregory had a deep love for traveling, particularly fond of memorable trips to Switzerland that created lasting memories with his Swiss Family.

His faith was a cornerstone of his life; he was committed to attending church. An accomplished tenor, Gregory found joy in singing, his voice a testament to his passionate spirit.

Gregory leaves behind his loving sisters, Shirley Rauschenbach and Sandi Poureshmenantalemy, along with his sister-in-law, Margie Moor. He is remembered fondly by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and his beloved cats, Lily and Gus.

Gregory was preceded in death by his dear parents, Paul and Eleanor Moor, and his brother, Gary Moor. He also joins his brothers-in-law, Rod Rauschenbach and Ahmad Poureshmenantalemy, in eternal peace.

As we remember Gregory, we celebrate the strong faith and unwavering kindness that defined his life. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who loved him, reminding us to embrace love, family, and the simple joys of life. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his big heart and the joyful memories he created.

Per Greg's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be at Mount Peace Cemetery in Hartville in the future.
