With deepest sorrow, we announce that our beloved son Hagan Andrew Hoover, at the young age of only 19 years old passed suddenly on Sunday, April 20, 2025.
We welcomed Hagan into the world on April 20, 2006, in Lexington, Kentucky. He graduated from Great Crossing High School in 2024 with honors in the Biomedical Sciences Village. He continued his education at Eastern Kentucky University where he was a sophomore and was part of the Esports Valorant Team. Hagan loved learning and school and was pursuing a career in nursing to become a nurse anesthetist. He also was employed with Prodesign Engineering, where he was a Design Engineer with his father, brother, and sister.
We celebrate his ever-present smile and the warmth, depth, and intelligence behind it. Hagan will be missed every day, every minute by his very proud and loving parents, Nicole and Troy Hoover; older brother, Griffin Hoover; little sister Ellie Hoover; maternal grandmother Linda Demick; paternal grandfather Bobby Hoover, and a host of family and lifelong friends.
We know Hagan is with his Nanny Maxine Hoover, Uncle Robby Hoover and Grandpa Dennis Demick. He will continue to be loved here on earth, and they will ensure he will be loved in heaven.
A visitation will be conducted from 11:00am-1:00pm on Monday, April 28, 2025, with a funeral service to follow at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home, 320 West Main Street, Georgetown, KY 40324. The burial will take place at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery in Georgetown, KY. The pallbearers will be Ansel Bryant, Jason Kelley, Sam Walton, Matt Demick, Michael Collins and Clint Hoover.
