Jackie Lynn Wells Waggoner 1955-2025 Jackie Waggoner, 70, of Grayson, KY, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at UK King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born February 20, 1955, in Grayson, KY, the daughter of the late Clarence and Bertha Steele Wells. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Waggoner.
She was a Christian and visited different churches when she was able. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and caretaker to everyone around her. Caretaking and cooking were definitely her love languages.
Jackie is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Waggoner and Kelly Waggoner both of Grayson, KY; two sons, Clyde Cecil (Crystal) Waggoner of Grayson, KY and George Richard Waggoner II of Louisville, KY; a sister Jennifer (Hal) McDavid; three brothers, Clarence Wells Jr., Johnny (Kathy) Wells, and Clyde (Sherry) Wells all of Grayson, KY; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Jacob, Kayden, Jadien, Makyla, Landen, Ashton, and Brandon; a great-grandaughter, Charlotte Rae Craft; several nieces and nephews as well as many adopted children and grandchildern throughout her seventy years; special mention of Michael Gollihue, David Reffit, Hannah, Bethany and Faith Maddix.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the Sparks Funeral Home, Paul Holbrook, minister. Burial will follow at a later date at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 6, from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Online condolences at www.sparksfh.com
