James Timothy Killgo (1953-2024)
James Timothy "Tim" Killgo, 71, of Villa Rica, GA died on Sept. 20.2024.
He was born in Atlanta in 1953 to Ollie Ada Elizabeth Travis and Harry Haskell Killgo. James is preceded in death by his parents and older sister, Lafon Leonard and is survived by his younger sister, Joy Painton, his son Adam Killgo and his wife Heather and two children, Cameron Sims and Brooke Sims, stepson Brian Lee and his son, Logan Rabold and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
James lived as a child in Clayton County and attended North Clayton High School before joining the Army Reserve.
James was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and most importantly, spending those moments with the ones he cared about most. He was a life long UGA football fan. James was loved by many and will truly be missed by all of those that knew him.
The family is holding a service for all who like to attend on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 with visitation at noon followed by a memorial service at 1:00. F. L. Sims Funeral Home-Mableton Chapel.
