Jane Kurre, 59, of Jackson passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 20, 1966, in St. Louis, daughter of Thomas and Bernice Bugel McBride. She and Joe Kurre were married on July 14, 1992.
Jane graduated from Lindbergh High School in 1984 and earned a Management degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011. She was employed at Disc Jockey Records for several years, followed by 20 years of service at the university's Textbook Rental department, where she also held managerial positions for several years.
Loving survivors include her husband, Joe Kurre of Jackson; mother, Bernice McBride; three sisters, Mary Besgrove, Kathie McBride and Carol McBride; a brother, Thomas (Elyse) McBride; a stepson, Jesse Kurre of Jefferson City and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The visitation will be from noon until service time on Friday, April 18, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
The family suggests that contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
