Mr. Bordelon, age 50 of Plaucheville, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at his residence.
Buca was born and raised in Plaucheville. He was a partner in Carolyn's Bookkeeping LLC for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He never met a stranger and will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Cilton and Stella Scallan and his paternal grandparents, Phil L. and Edna G. Bordelon.
Survivors include his wife; Deedra Mayeaux Bordelon of Plaucheville; his mother, Carolyn Scallan and husband James "Buster" Lemoine; and his father, Paul "Babe" Wayne Bordelon and his wife Patsy of Dupont; his uncle Lynn "Winky" Scallan and wife Nat and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will include: Eric Scallan, Eddie Lemoine, Gavin Lemoine, Hunter Mayeaux, Bryce Taylor Alex Dufour and Bryce Dalgo; cross bearer will be Braylon Dalgo.
Friends may visit on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
