Obituary
Jonathan Alan Parrish Born on November 25th, 1984 left this side of heaven and Joined his Heavenly Father on July 25, 2023, after a tough battle with brain cancer.
Jonathan was a believer in Christ and found true community as a member of First Baptist Church in Charlestown. He graduated from Silver Creek High School in 2003 and enjoyed his job as a neurodiagnostic technologist at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
JP put his family first. He loved and honored his beautiful wife, Allie Parrish for over a decade, and was a father to two incredible children. He was a truly selfless parent who loved to watch Isabella Ann Parrish (9) perform at any sport or drama she participated in, and was able to spend so much quality time playing cars and trains with his son, Roman Spurgeon Parrish (3). Jonathan was an avid University of Kentucky fan and enjoyed listening to Sovereign Grace music. In his free time, JP was often found enjoying photography, hiking, and fishing.
Jonathan will be remembered with a celebration of life at First Baptist in Charlestown, Indiana on the 29th of July at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am also at the church. If you would like to wear Kentucky basketball blue to the service the family would encourage and appreciate it. It would please JP to see the crowd sporting the Big Blue colors.
The family respectfully asks that expressions of sympathy and love take the form of donations to First Baptist Church, 930 Market Street, Charlestown, IN. 47111
