Our condolences to members of the Ryan Family, on the passing of Dear Juan. My remembrances of Juan were through his part, along with other professional partners, in the donation of the old house at 1351 Springfield Ave., New Providence; to the newly formed New Providence Historical Society, in 1966. The society moved the house, across Springfield Ave., in 1967, to where it currently is located. Juan and partners had a professional building built on that lot.The Salt Box Museum continues, after these many years, to show a glimpse of yesteryear in town; to many who visit each year, including N.P. school children. We are thankful for Juan's support in many ministries in New Providence; over his long time in town. May Juan Rest In Peace ! -Rick-New Providence Hist. Soc.

I was at mass tonight at Our Lady of Peace Church and heard that Juan passed away. I immediately looked over at where he normally sits during mass and he wasn't there. I sobbed crying for the rest of mass. My heart hurts because I would walk out, at the end of mass with him on many evenings and we would talk. He was so sweet and cute. I just adored him. I would always tell my Mom how cute he was, after church. Tonight, my heart hurts because I didn't get to see him. But after reading his obituary, I realize that I got to say goodbye to him last week when we walked out of church. I had no idea how soon after, he would pass away. If I had known, I would have hugged him that last time. I am praying for him. He was so precious and he was the most faithful man I have ever known. He had a hard time walking but he NEVER missed going to mass, in spite of that. He really inspired me to make sure I go to mass. If Juan made it to every mass, I have NO excuse not to be there. So, I thank Juan for inspiring me to be consistent with going to church. I will really miss seeing you every week, Juan. May God bless you. Rest in peace. Also, Prayers for his family. May you find peace that surpasses all understanding in this difficult time. God bless.
Love,
Kelly (Burns) Jenner.
